ImproveHealthCare.org has started an innovative and highly energized network of medical students working together to engage each other and our classmates in the important discussion on healthcare improvement. The broader healthcare improvement movement has gained significant international momentum in recent years; however, to date this discussion remains noticeably absent from many medical schools’ formal curricula. With commitment and energy, we hope to catalyze the beginnings of a student movement to complement the vast amount of activity taking place outside the domain of medical education, and in doing so help to educate the next generation of physicians in a topic of vital importance for ourselves and our patients.
